An in-house developed software for a fast and reliable stability and shock analysis allows accurate and fast calculation of sea movements, residual accelerations and shock deflections undergone by an elastically suspended 3-D rigid body. The shock pulse can be defined consistently with a large variety of military and industrial specifications.

For more complex shock analyses, characterized by highly nonlinear behavior of the shock-absorbing supports, such as the presence of end stops (snubbers) and plastic deformations, it is possible to perform simulations in the Ansys Mechanical environment.
